Ain’t Farming Fun

When I was growing up we got up square bales of hay with my Grandiddy every summer! Anytime something went wrong or broke he would sarcastically say, “Ain’t farming fun!” Since I married a farmer I say this a lot now!! It’s literally always something going wrong or breaking on the farm. The other summer I lost count of how many flat tires we had on tractors and trailers. The first day we tried to cut corn last year I had to take the dump truck to town to get two new tires on it before we could get started! The last few years in the middle of straw we have had break downs at about 5 o’clock on Fridays!😝

My husband just rolls with it and handles all the break downs and stress of farming so well!
The Ain’t Farming Fun is written in my Diddy’s handwriting!! He stacked many bales of hay on the trailer and in the barn when I was growing up! He now bales straw for us, hauls corn and does anything else he thinks we need help with! We are thankful he still thinks farming is fun!😬🥰
I did a flat tire, a wrench, and an irrigation reel. It’s never fun when we aren’t getting rain in July and have to pull irrigation pipes and reels out!
Anyone farming will understand this one because it’s always something breaking on the farm 🙃🤪😅 🔧 🚜
